WX is a new agency with a mission to help young people break through the diversity barrier that exists in the media and communications industry.

We've launched The WXchange Series, a virtual training and development events programme tailored to young people looking to build their cultural capital and kickstart their career.

The first panel event in The WXchange Series will focus on careers in two storytelling disciplines: PR and Journalism.

Public Relations

If you don’t know what PR is, you’re not alone. PR is the business of persuasion but very few people can explain what PR’s ‘do’. Sign-up to hear first-hand what the purpose of PR is, how it works and the skills you need to get into the industry.

It’s a common misconception that journalists have free rein on what they write. The WXchange Series will explore and discuss the power of the media, while pinning down the goals of journalism and what it’s really like to be a journalist.

Our professional and experienced panellists will chat openly about how they’ve built and navigated their careers. They’ll share stories of success while laying out the challenges and hurdles that they’ve faced along the way.

Three industry professionals who work for brands, agencies and editorial media will be hosted by WX co-founder Zoe Stafford.
